Salena is a proud former army brat that has lived all over the U.S. including the two states that are not continental states and Ft. Hood, Texas. Her creative writing and public speaking talents met each other in the front of her third-grade class, sharing an unusual short story about a stuffed Karate bear. She has a B.S. in Family and Human Services from John Brown University with an emphasis in youth education. Salena's favorite aspect of working with LifeGuard is having an energetic, honest, safe, and productive conversation with students surrounding a foundational area of life.
